EGCA

General:

Normal league rules apply however the following details are specific to the QP only.

Each club registered to play in the EGCA league will be allowed to enter as many teams as they require into the QP. 

The games will not be rated.

There will not be an entry fee.

Teams & Matches:

Each match will be played over 4 boards.

There will be 4 games per round.  Players will not rotate after each round.  

Each game will see the colours reversed.  The home team will have black in the first round.

Results must be confirmed to the Ex.Dir within 7 days of the match being played.

Fixtures and Rearrangements

Fixtures will be prepared as soon as practicable. Any postponements must be played within 14 days.  Games can be brought forward or changed to another night in the same week if both captains agree and the Ex.Dir is advised.

Rate of Play:   

The time limit is all moves In 10 minutes plus a 10 second increment per move.

Restrictions:

Where clubs have more than one team playing, a player is only permitted to play for one team within the duration of the competition.

Captains should arrange their teams in order of player strength using the current grading list.  A tolerance of 100 points will be permitted.
